YanZi was there! and so was Leona Lewis, PCD, One Republic, The Click Five, Nicholas Teo blah blah blah...dammit! I dun have ticket...neither nor I have transport and company to be there...*sigh*

Rock Up! 2008 - Music to Change

Rock Up! is a fund raising event that uses the influence of music to make a change in the lives of others. The event includes a concert where musicians, singers, dancers and celebrities come together to highlight the plight of the Agathians Shelter Home. The Home is currently raising funds for the construction of their new residence and is in need of RM350, 000 to complete the construction of their new residence. However this fundraising event will be aiming to raise at least RM40,000 in order for the home to begin construction work.

This event, “Rock up” means to be present, and by using that, we are asking the public to show up and be present at the event to make a change in the lives of these children.

Raffle tickets will be sold before and during the event itself, and buyers will stand a chance to win the prizes on offer.

Monash Talent Time

A little promotion here..the monash performing arts club will organize a talent time show on the 7th September 2007 at their new campus. It's a competition where people go up to show their talents (like duh...) The show will start at 7:30pm and the ticket can be purchased at RM10. I think some of the sunway student went for the audition..any of them make it to the show? (update me with this MPAC committee!) Anyhow, the show is open for public so if you are interested please leave a message I will make sure they get back to you..
