Rock Up! 2008 - Music to Change
Rock Up! is a fund raising event that uses the influence of music to make a change in the lives of others. The event includes a concert where musicians, singers, dancers and celebrities come together to highlight the plight of the Agathians Shelter Home. The Home is currently raising funds for the construction of their new residence and is in need of RM350, 000 to complete the construction of their new residence. However this fundraising event will be aiming to raise at least RM40,000 in order for the home to begin construction work.
This event, “Rock up” means to be present, and by using that, we are asking the public to show up and be present at the event to make a change in the lives of these children.
Raffle tickets will be sold before and during the event itself, and buyers will stand a chance to win the prizes on offer.

okay..it was a night with buddy in a party and have fun!
as I said, we've been through a hard week so we decided to pamper ourselves with some fun..so we gathered at CRZ's house to have a lil party with all the food some of them learned from the edu psy's assignment such as sushi, cheese cake and apple crumble! we ordered pizza as well!! whee~
we invited Ms. Elaine to come over to join us as she is our edu psy's lecturer and so we watched movie [Enchanted], play with CRZ's and Vivianne's dogs - Lucky and Bibi...oh man..they are sooooo adorable! play piano and sing songs, camwhoring, and we had wrote some encouragement messages for everyone and we took turn to read out...some was very fun to hear and indeed it makes everyone feels good! hallo who dun like to hear good compliment and comment about own self?? Ms. Elaine showed us the clip that her husband sang to her on their wedding night!! oww...that's so lovely, he actually wrote that song himself...
I'd melt if my husband do that for me on our wedding~~

anyway was drowning in endless assignments last 2 weeks..3 due dates to meet this week..1 presentation on personality report, reviews for all subjects, and helping out a workshop for the A-level students...all these were done in the past 4 days!!I've not sleep more than 5 hours for the past one week...and now finally I'm done with this hectic week...I survived through it somehow *phew* and now its time to rejuvenate myself and pamper myself with a little party and shopping!! I need some retail therapy okay!

In the midst of rushing assignments....talking to them make me feel happy! even thou we are at different side of the world but each time we chat things just fall back into its place..we make silly faces thru web cam, we chat on random stuff, we laugh at each other teasing that they are getting rounder etc etc...and I was clearing some unused folder in my desktop just now, I found the old presentation slides that we did for Rachel's birthday 2 years ago...the songs and the photos brings back all the good memories...
Back then I only knew them as Rachel's course mates..and the plan to go Genting together was just a coincident..and in the end there were only 4 of us ;) and since then our friendship blossom =) I am really blessed to have know them..we tease at each other, we bitch about everything under the sun, we shout at each other yet we still love one another! oh.yes..we did bitch about alotta things..trust me we are really mean and bad mouth when there's only four of us around! hehe...

most of the time we only sees pretty and positive side of something...but when we found out the truth..things are not always as good as they seem...
sometimes it's so hard to express it out to anyone because you know something is just not yours to share/rant..and it's not even possible to blog about it because you care!you care that someone's gonna read it and feel hurt.....

*sigh* feeling so dizzy when I woke up yesterday morning..after wash up I fall back straight on my bed and so I decided to skip the lectures and went back to sleep..the next thing I know it's already 12pm! my nose is like leaking tap....had my lunch, and went back to my room and finished up the communication report...and start finding journals for essay....argh Ebscohost's a bitch! cant find much from there.....have to look for an external source d...hmm...
anyway..I'm heading to bed..it's Wed!! I only have one lectures and that is a very pleasant thought after having a leaking tap day =)

seriously, my BM is always worse than my english since young..never get an A for BM in my entire life....ok I did actually..during UPSR era =.="
why am I telling you this out of the blue? because a couple of days ago, when I went to the bank and help my mum to settle some payment regarding to her safety box in that bank...and since we moved to this current address 8 years ago she didn't update the new address and new house phone neither her new cell's number and so the bank couldn't reach her at all....and I think they got desperate and they sent a note to the old address hoping that it will reach our hands....fortunate enough that my uncles and grandma and relatives are still there to keep all these important mails for us....
and so the officer was asking me:
officer: sekarang siapa tinggal kat alamat ni? (referring to the old address)
me: (after thinking a while and apparently the question didn't register in my mind) tak tau!
officer: huh? macam mana kamu dapat surat ni?
me: (finally registered) ohh....nenek tinggal kat sana sekarang....
so u see...it takes longer time for me to register what you said in BM!! I actually answered 'TAK TAU' to a simple question like dat wtf! so if not necessary please don't speak malay with me...you will probably get inappropriate reply.....

came home rather early yesterday...went to have a nap and then wake up, dinner and start finishing up whatever report that I haven complete...thought of going back to bed earlier. but damn smart la myself, had a cuppa coffee at round 9pm and end up sleeping at 3ish near 4 -_-ll
anyway..gonna hit the bed now..I'm feeling extra sleepy tonight..I fell asleep while watching american idol just now

sooooo friggin stressed out ATM..spent the whole afternoon on the plasticine...I must say I reallydun like HATE art craft!! one whole afternoon only complete one small part of it..and I'm getting sick with it alrd...and then started to look for journals for my essay....*endless journals* 4 due dates coming up within this month....we are all so gonna be zombified =.=
anyway..there are something not really happy happened...not to me but to my friends...I'm sorry that you've lost your friend..I know you all must be having a hard time getting over this but hang in there..grieve and deal with the emotions properly and I hope you girls will be fine soon..take care girls =) and such incident made me realized that bad things do happens to us...to people around us...
was talking to a friend online...she told me that sometimes I made a better friend to her than her best fren did....since she left to further her studies abroad..they hardly keep contact with each other just because the other friend hardly come online and she didn't really know what is happening to her....and there comes the distance theory again....who said friendship knows no boundaries? reality is so cruel sometimes....
speaking of friends....I was watching some videos we took/made last time...I so miss those moments when we were all sitting together in McD chilling..tok kok-ing and basically just enjoy having each other's company.....the videos made me laugh and cry.....I wish I can share it with everyone here but the videos are be too private to share..hha..we did all the embarrassing things just to make each other laugh...but now.....we barely talk to each other....*sigh*
