Whoever said: "what you don't know can't hurt you", was a complete moron.
Because not knowing is the worst feeling in the world...what is coming out for the exam? duno. what is gonna happen next second? duno. you've lost your wallet, where? duno. is ur crush having the same feeling as u? duno. will you and ur partner last long? duno. can your illness be cured? duno or getting lost in some place you don't know...
we always need to be in the know. although we would love a lil surprise or two once in a while but we still prefer to know and aware of what is coming ahead. why we care to know? because it make us feel damn secure...yes, mankind love the sense of security!
Of course, that line is applicable some times.....when you knew something that you later wish you didn't know about it at all........
